Fire-rated glazing relies on the correct glass, beads, seals, aperture and fixing details working together. Cracked glass, loose beads, damaged seals or unauthorised alterations should be assessed against the door identification and supporting information. A visually similar replacement is not automatically suitable. Confirm the glazing system and permitted repair method before dismantling components.
